Target coordinating and subordinating conjunctions in two ways with this packet that includes:
- 72 cards with sentences in which the student must identify the conjunction as well as the two sentences being combined,
- 72 cards in which two sentences must be combined with a specified conjunction
Print, laminate, and cut out all president cards.
(p. 3-14) Students take turns drawing a president card, reading the sentence, and determining the conjunction in the sentence. Students can also identify the two sentences that have been combined with the conjunction.
(p. 15-26) Students take turns drawing a president card and determining how to put the sentences together with the targeted conjunction.
