Kids love Readers' Theater, and here's one you can do especially on Presidents Day, or any day during the school year!! It is written for 25 students if you want to do it as a whole class activity, but the parts can easily be divided among a smaller group of students.
The main idea of the Reader's Theater is to get students interested in American history. Most of the facts in this reader's theater are little "sidenotes" about our presidents- those little known facts that are very interesting!
The script is 7 pages long. My guess is that it is at the readability level of typical 4th-6th graders, but take a peek at the preview to decide for yourself. (The preview contains ALL 7 pages.)
