This is a fun, imaginative lesson that allows students to use those higher-order thinking skills by assuming the presidency of the United States in 2030. They will assume the identity of this persona/character and answer interview questions. Step-by-step instructions are included for students. This is appropriate for sixth grade through high school seniors. Two pages of interview questions for students to answer and a bonus activity: students get to design their own full-size Presidential seal. A suggested continuation of the assignment is to allow students to exchange their answers in order to showcase the responses of classmates in non-biased newspaper articles.
