Description

Here are a couple of writing prompts for Presidents Day or any time children are studying US presidents!

Why use Presidents Writing Prompts? Studies show students are drawn to novelty, including special days. Both writing prompts are related to US presidents, and are perfect for Presidents Day, Election Day, or any time the students are studying presidents.

How it works: After a study of US presidents, children can be given either of the writing prompts to share their knowledge of presidents and practice their writing skills.

What’s included: This resource has two different writing prompts: an opinion prompt comparing 2 popular US presidents (Washington and Lincoln) and a chance to tell about their thoughts if they were president. These prompts come with different types of writing lines and different images.
