This is a simple and comprehensive way to have your students learn and organize the keywords they will need to identify preterite and imperfect sentences in Spanish.
I go over all the keywords on the table and explain how the preterite keywords are more specific while the imperfect ones are more general. The students write the English below each keyword. Then, I have them copy the keywords in Spanish ONLY on the stoplight. They color in the stoplight for a quick visual aide.
