This is a quick and easy review activity to help your kids practice the keywords associated with the Preterit and Imperfect. Go through the slideshow with them and have them hold up the participation cards to show which tense corresponds with the keyword on the screen. (FYI: I copy the participation cards front to back so it's just one card.)
I usually extend this activity by having them write down or tell me what each keyword means. You could also have them working in groups to silently write down what all the keywords mean, reward the winning group, and then review all the meanings with the class at the end. The great thing about it is that it is a very flexible activity that you can adjust to your class's needs!
What you get:
~"Pretérito" and "Imperfecto" participation cards
~Slideshow with 28 slides (one keyword per slide)
*I have aligned this to both the "Stoplight Notes" and the "Gato Game: Preterit and Imperfect" that can also be found in my shop.*
