This game is played in rounds, but could easily have a winner each round as opposed to totaling up points. For this game, the players could play as many as 32 different rounds. Each round would start with a domino that has a verb with its Preterite meaning (introducir/introduced). Once you have the beginning domino, place this domino in the center. Players take turns attaching tiles to the beginning tile, creating their own tracks based on similar verbs, conjugations, and subject pronouns. Players compete to get rid of their tiles first.
The play ends as soon as one player runs out of dominoes, but there are some fun strategies along the way. At this point, the players total up their points. Player with the least amount of points wins if competing in rounds.
I recommend having students say the meanings of the subjects and verb conjugations as they set down their tiles for extra practice.
