Description
Instructions to make a flip book that puts the entire preterite tense in one place. Requires six sheets of different colored paper and a stapler. Optional ruler and binder clip for precision.
Flip book for you or your students to fill in, with a tab for regular -AR verbs, -CAR, -GAR, -ZAR verbs, -ER/-IR verbs, LOCC verbs, IR/SER (The identical twins), DAR/VER (The fraternal twins), Chanclas (flip-flops/-ir stem-change verbs), the "I" group, the "J" group and the "U" group, with an extra tab for example sentences from each type of preterite.
You or your students should label each tab for the different types of preterites listed above. Then, above the label (below the flap above it), fill in the endings (regulars) or forms of each type of preterite and a conjugated example of the type. (Only the label should show when the flip book flaps are closed).
