The is a one-page reading in Spanish (followed by two pages of activities related to the reading) that is written at a sophomore- senior level of Spanish. The writing includes future, imperfect, and preterite tenses. The reading centers around a young man whose grandmother passes away and after a year of mourning her, he finds out she has left him money. He then lists four options for the reader to read and choose from for how to spend the money in a respectful manner. There are interpretive and presentational activities that also assess comprehension. There is a key that is included.
