This is a medium difficulty preterite worksheet. It is a fictional account, told from first person POV, of a robbery. The topic allows a wide range of action verbs. If you're teaching Spanish 2, and you want to push your kids just a little on the preterite, this is a good choice; if you're teaching Spanish 3, and you need a good exercise to review the preterite, this one is just challenging enough.
The text of the story will expose them to other tenses, thus giving them passive exposure to more advanced verbs without impeding their ability to understand the story.
