This is a short story where students are given a list of verbs that will be used in the blanks of the short story.
Student will first conjugate the verbs in both the preterite and imperfect using the box provided. Then students will read the story and decide which of their conjugated (preterite or imperfect) verbs to use.
This could be used as a quiz/assessment, classwork, or homework.
You could also extend this activity by having students create their own questions to the story to ask a partner.
