Product Description
I have divided the preterit into four categories: Regular, Irregular, Stem Change and Spell Change. Students will know how to conjugate all preterit verbs with these notes. There is also a page of imperfect conjugations and the uses of preterit vs imperfect. TAPESWAB is an acronym that will teach them the uses of imperfect. (Time, Age, Physical Description, Emotional Description, Simultaneous action, Action before interruption and Background information). There are examples for each and really helps the students know when to use which tense. There is also a list of verbs with dual meanings: saber, querer, no quere, & poder. My students take this to college with them and have written me back because it was so helpful.
