This is a great family and consumer science (FACS) recipe for a beginning cook. The recipe includes the directions, yield, nutrition facts, cooking tips, and a line for students to write who is responsible for each cooking step. I also have teacher tips for running this lab.
This plan sheet helps students get organized and have success during cooking labs!
The lab is organized for five students per group with specific assigned jobs. This sheet clearly states group members’ food jobs, set-up, and clean up jobs. The food groups are specified, equipment needed for the lab, and a group assessment. There is no arguing with this plan sheet! All work is designated and planned!
