This is a bundle of three Prezi presentations. Each one includes instruction at the beginning and ends with guided practice:
"Can I Quote You on That? Four Ways to Add Quotes to Your Writing" is a ten-slide presentation that aims to helps students avoid hanging quotations--or simply dropping quotes into sentences by themselves. It concludes with several interesting quotes to give students practice working them in to original sentences.
"The Euphemism" is an eight-slide presentation that includes a definition and guided practice to encourage class discussion on why we use euphemisms.
"The Oxymoron: A Smart Way to Use Figurative Language" is nine slides long and its aim is to really help student analyze the use of oxymora in literature as the Common Core standard instructs.
I hope you will find each of these Prezi useful in your own classroom. I've found my students and I enjoy Prezi much more than PowerPoint, and they're a great way to a concept efficiently.
