Product Description
Thought-provoking and often humorous questions for students to discuss about the main characters. Use towards the end of the novel reading. Some questions include: Which modern day sitcom character is Elizabeth most like and why?
If Elizabeth had a clothing line, what types of frocks would she make? Describe the materials, how they would look, colors, etc. What would Darcy order at Starbucks and why? If Jane had access to music from today’s world, what would she listen to and why? If Mr. Bennet were a modern day parent, what type of guidelines/ rules would he enforce with his teenagers?
Ask students to use specific examples from the novel to support their metaphorical modernizations.
