A unit overview plan for the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Students focus on one critical perspective as they read the novel, New Historicist/Gender-Feminist/Psychoanalytic, and then complete a dialectical journal as well as an analysis essay. They also complete small group discussions focused on questions related to their perspective. Includes directions, overviews of each perspective, questions for journals and discussions, and a dialectical journal graphic organizer. Works well for AP Literature or any advanced English class.
