We will be electing a new president of the United States this year! Here is an opportunity to teach your students a little bit about how the primary elections work as well as have them research one candidate from each political party. Instead of doing a boring report, this will be done in the format of resumes!! Students will create three total resumes in this project (one will be of the democratic candidate of their choosing, one will be of the republican candidate of their choosing, and the last will be their own resume!!!) It's fun to watch how creative the kids get when they have to list their "work experience" as junior high students.

Project includes directions for how to do the project, skeleton notes to take together as a class as you teach a few key terms, an answer key and a rubric.
