You will be a rock star! This collection is highly interactive, creative, and rich in age-appropriate critical thinking.

This collection takes me through an entire year of lessons with my advanced groups of kindergarteners, 1st, and 2nd graders . . . but many of these lessons can also be used for middle and upper elementary kids, especially if you come into the regular classroom to teach whole-class enrichment lessons.
19 units and 419 pages of lessons!
Most of these units use Caldecott and classic picture books to springboard across the curriculum. It’s not solely literacy—far from it. Units are laced with Common Core State standards, and they’re designed to follow best practices in gifted education.
You will see a small amount repetition within the program . . . because it makes sense to use the Ham the Chimp activity for both Moonshot and Curious George Gets a Medal and the bird’s eye view perspective lesson for both The Snow Day and The Man Who Walked Between the Towers. That’s about it, though. You are going to have a huge variety to choose from, and you may have as much fun as the kids!
Some of these units appear in other collections in my store. They all appear individually, but individual downloads would come to over 70 bucks. How about the whole thing for less than half of that?
