This notebook file is excited to bring an interactive approach to your daily calendar routine! There is no better way to engage young students' minds than to differentiate your morning through the integration of technology. The months on the first slide can be copied and expanded to create the banner for your calendar on page 2. Each date is stacked on the bottom right of the calendar page and can be moved by the students (easy as ever to drag back down when you need to start from scratch for a new month). Enjoy adding up the days of school by counting coins and another page allows your classroom weather person to graph what's happening outside and finally you can play a game of monster crunch to re-inforce place value and greater and less than (to play this game one student thinks of a number between 0-30 and as the students guess the number the monsters either move up or down the number line, eating the numbers that they pass). As an added bonus there are skip counting posters that include the words to some fun and engaging skip count rap songs!
