My students LOVE this game. They get to act out being large frogs or birds that eat frogs or they're frogs with (hopefully) defenses to prevent them from becoming a predator's snack.
While predators wait in the hall each student gets a card that may or may not have a defense to protect them if they are tapped by the predator.
The materials are simple, the game is quick, and the kids ask to play it often. A great way to review the characteristics of a frog that can help it avoid predators. Choose from English or Spanish text.
The teaching duration says one hour–that's just the time to present and play the game the first time–we play this game all year long!
