This handout allows students to work individually or in partners to demonstrate their understanding of reliable sources. It provides the definitions of primary and secondary sources along with guiding questions to help them determine which sources are primary or secondary. Students must also provide evidence to support their answer. This activity is student centered and helps develop their critical thinking skills. It provides the opportunity for teacher to sit and work one on one with struggling students. INTERNET ACCESS along with iPads or computers are NECESSARY. They will search the internet to find 3 examples of each.
