Description

This Primary Writing Journal gives you prompts and guidance sheets for 9 weeks of writing. It is focused on the genre of fictional writing and is geared for Kindergarten, first grade and second grade. This journal goes through the entire writing process of brainstorming, drafting, revising and editing. It also provides forms for peer conferencing and teacher led conferencing for each writing prompt. After completing all 9 writing pieces, the students will choose a prize piece to publish. This allows students to get indepth practice into the genre of fiction writing, while getting teacher commentary all along the process.
