    Description

The writing process is important to build writing confidence in the primary grades - Kindergarten, First Grade, or Second Grade. This bundle includes 4 E-Books, each with a clickable link Table of Contents. Each E-book will give your students a 9 week writing journal focusing on a different genre.

You will be able to go through the entire writing process or brainstorming, drafting, revising and editing, and conferencing for nine different writing prompts for each genre. Then, students will choose a prize piece to publish. This allows students to get in depth practice into each of the 4 genres, while getting teacher commentary all along the process.

    Each writing journal includes:
    - 9 grading rubrics
    - 9 brainstorming maps
    - 9 two page drafting sections
    - 9 revising and editing checklists
    - 1 set of guidelines for publishing
    - 1 phonics guidance sheet with picture clues for letter sounds (NEW)
    - 1 sight words guidance sheet to help students spell common words (NEW)

Print each journal for each student, bind or place in a three ring binder and you have your entire nine weeks of writing covered.

At my store I have a range of additional writing journals including:
