Engage your students in this primary and secondary source game to use in guided reading groups. In this game students practice recognizing the difference between primary and secondary sources. I include the definition cards for primary and secondary sources as part of the game if students are struggling. My special education students really enjoy this game because there is minimal reading and they can use the source card definitions.
This game helps cover Ohio Model Social Studies standard History 2: Primary and secondary sources can be used to create historical narratives. It also covers ELA Common Core RI 4.6 comparing and contrasting first and secondhand accounts.
This game includes:
Game cards: 36 primary and secondary source cards with answers
