I used this with my 6th grade Social Studies class to re-enforce the difference between Primary and Secondary sources. We did this activity after we had already learned the difference/definitions. This activity was used as practice.
I printed out images of various sources, hung them around the room and did it a a gallery walk. You can also do it as a powerpoint. (I like doing it as a gallery walk because students are up and moving around)
Students all used a graphic organizer to mark if each source is primary or secondary.
Both of these resources are linked in the bundle.
