Here are two "no prep" practice pages for your students to test their understanding of primary and secondary sources.Each page contains ten examples. Students must read each example and identify it as a primary or secondary source.

Students can easily check their own work with the provided answer keys.


2. Primary and Secondary Sources Task Cards/Scoot Game

Students will enjoy practicing primary and secondary sources with this fun and engaging resource. This set of 32 task cards works perfectly as a Scoot game or as a task card activity in small groups or a literacy center. The cards are in color so that you can laminate and keep them, but you could certainly print them in black and white or greyscale if desired.

Each card features a description of a specific resource. A recording sheet (black and white) is provided for students to identify each resource as primary or secondary. An answer key is also included for your convenience.

Here is a fun, "no prep" practice page for your students to test their understanding of primary and secondary sources.The page contains twelve examples using famous people as the inspiration. Students must read each example and identify it as a primary or secondary source.
