Product Description
This product is a must for the beginning of the year (to be reused at any point during the school year!) for any late elementary or middle school math classroom! It is the ultimate remedy for the “What is a prime number again?” scenario! The product consists of 18 reusable “What number am I?” cards that can be easily laminated, cut up, and distributed to students to play a who-can-get-the-most-correct-answers game. These cards can then be reused as often as needed as a memory refresher. Also provided are instructions to the students, the definition of the twelve different important, often-used words ("prime", "composite", "factor", "multiple", "divisible by", "sum", "product", "difference", "quotient", "odd", "even", "square") that are seen frequently in the riddle cards, an answer sheet to record answers and any necessary work, and an answer key for teacher use. Cards start with easy-to-solve clues and move to more challenging clues that stimulate critical thinking. A great way to meet common core math standards in a fun and meaningful way.
