Product Description
This product includes 12 task cards, a student recording sheet, and an answer key.

Teachers should cut apart the 12 task cards and place them randomly around the classroom. This activity is intended to be like a scavenger hunt for students. The student recording sheet should be copied and each student (or student pair) should have one sheet.

The students will move around the classroom searching for the different cards and recording the given number on their sheet. They will need to use division to figure out if the given number is considered prime or composite. Students should have a solid background knowledge of prime numbers and composite numbers.

My students love getting out of their seats and moving around the classroom to find the task cards. They usually forgot their actually practicing math! :)
