Description
Students need lots of practice identifying and differentiating between prime and composite numbers. They also need to work on even and odd numbers. That’s why I created this set of prime, composite, even and odd number task cards in digital form. I used these digital activities for differentiated instruction with my fifth grade virtual class during distance learning. I created some PDF sorts so that you could have more flexibility in using this product.
These cards come in sets of five to 15 tasks, so they are not too overwhelming. You could have students complete the four digital sets independently—in centers or for homework. These are perfect for independent work while you teach small groups.
The three sorts can be laminated with the corresponding answer keys to create an easy self-checking center. They could also be used for small group instruction. You could assign the sorts as an independent assignment. Students could cut them out and glue them on a separate sheet for a formative assessment, independent work, or an assignment for your sub folder.
Once you download the file, you will automatically have access to your PDF task cards. Simply print, cut, and laminate! There are answer cards for each set of four with space for students to show their work. A printable key is included for all sets.
The links to your two digital activities are included in this file as well. Here’s how to access them:
1. Make sure you have a Google™ Account.
2. Click the links in the file you’ve just downloaded.
3. Sign into your Google™ account if you’re prompted.
4. Click the “make a copy” button.
5. Make sure to save the copy to your Google™ Drive
6. Assign your students their own copies so they won’t alter your original.
Thank you so much for visiting my store and for considering this product. Happy teaching!
