**These Princess Mat Mats were updated on June 27, 2014. The original math mats were updated (smaller margins, new fonts), and one math was changed to a new castle. In addition, eight 8.5"x11" Princess Number Math Mats were added, as well as three 8.5"x11" Princess grid games and coordinating cards and an information page about using grid games. Finally, a set of princess number cards were added to be used in any number activity.**
These Princess mats can be used with manipulatives or playdough to provide children with practice counting and identifying numerals as well as creating and comparing sets in a variety of settings.
Materials Included in this Set:
- Six castle mats in two different sizes each: 8 1/2” x 11” and 11” x 17”.
- One page of princess cards, one page of fairy cards, and one page of frog cards.
Instructions; Copy these files onto heavy cardstock (I think glossy cardstock looks the best.) Laminate and put out with manipulatives (erasers, plastic counters, or even real peanuts if you have no peanut allergies in your classroom.) You can also put the mats out with playdough and let the students add their own playdough pieces.
