As teachers, we all love to give our students engaging activities to review skills within our classrooms. Escape rooms are extremely engaging, but also help you to see who is still struggling with what skills! Win, Win.
However, if you’re anything like me, some days you’re just #TeacherTired, especially at the end of the year. Stuffing 50 envelopes to hide around the room just made me even more tired thinking about, but at the same time, I still wanted my students to get to participate in these Escape Room or Break Out style activities! This is why I adapted the way “Escape Rooms” are done in my class. I created these print & go versions to implement!
My escape rooms are SUPER LOW PREP. I used to call the Low Prep, but after much feedback from others - the name has been changed to Print & go! They are truly No Prep for you, other than printing them out, and your kids will be reviewing in no time!
This Print & Go Classroom Escape Room Bundle includes 3 End of Year Reading, Language Arts, and Math reviews. I provide my students with 45 minutes to "breakout" or "escape the classroom" by solving all of the challenges before time runs out! However, you are able to tweak the time to fit your students' needs.
Skills these Escape Rooms includes:
- Context Clues

There's not an easier or more engaging way to get your students ready for end of year state testing/ Staar testing / or whatever state tests you take without the kill and drill of practice tests and worksheets! It also helps to encourage collaboration and higher order thinking. In my opinion, it's the best test prep because kids love it and it's effective in reviewing the standards!
