This is the perfect activity for fifth or six grade students to practice basic computation of whole numbers and decimals. I've also included two versions of the planner to allow students to have guided help with these real-life math problems or think independently in their own workspace.
You'll have three options for completing this activity with your students:
- Guided Planner: includes formulas to help students know what math equations they should be completing.
- Blank Planner: includes workspace without formulas. Students will need to read the problems and figure out the math equation as well as the answer.
- Google Classroom Slides: includes a digital version of the GUIDED planner. Students will still need a scrap piece of paper to solve computation problems. Everything else is digital! :)
