This four-to-a-page graphic organizer for students provides a checklist of things they must do to confirm that an exponential expression is fully simplified.
I use interactive notebooks and I print these out on colored paper and have my students paste them into their math INBs when we go over this topic. They can also be used as simply a handout for students. This is especially helpful to my students on IEPs and/or those who struggle to keep track of multiple steps/items on a list.
The pdf file contains both a full-color version for color printing and a black-and white version for the standard school photocopier.
