Type on the first three editable pages or print and write notes before copying.
1. “Tell Me About Your Day” Editable Prompt Cards - I fill these out for my preschool students so parents can ask them questions about the school day. My art teacher friend encouraged her families to read these at the dinner table.
Example “Ask me about our visit to the library” or “Ask me about the science experiment we tested today.”
2. “At School I’ve Been Practicing….” Cards - I use these to keep parents informed of student goals and expectations.
Example: “I have been practicing writing my name with one uppercase letter and the other letters lowercase.”
3. Editable Homework Notices - Sometimes I give students homework assignments that are activities instead of worksheets. I send these notes home to inform parents of these assignments.
Example: “Make a pattern using something at your house (toys, blocks, silverware, snacks, etc.)
4. Four Positive Behavior Notes - Whenever you get a chance, it is great to tell parents about something wonderful their child did at school!
