kindergarten, activity sheets, spelling, themes, alphabet, filefolder games, cut and paste, worksheets,
These cut and glue spelling activity sheets are something I made for my kindergarten students to do at Center Time and they loved them. I just copy them and put them in a center to go with the themes I teach. The kids cut on the dotted line, cut out the lowercase letters and glue the lowercase letters over the upper case letters to spell the words. Then they color the sheet. They are learning to spell some seasonal words and matching lowercase and uppercase letters. I have included sheets for common themes I teach: apples, caterpillar, butterfly, fireman, pumpkin, turkey, reindeer, snowman, mittens, hearts, groundhog, etc.
Some of my teacher friends have made these sheets into file folder games for their students to use at center time. I also made these sheets in color for you if you would like to make file folder games out of them. Just cut on the dotted line and glue the picture with the uppercase letters into a file folder. Then cut out the lower case letters and put small pieces of Velcro on the back of each letter and on the uppercase letters so their students could take the letters off and on and match them to spell the words.
