This product is a prereading strategy for Richard Peck's short story "Priscilla and the Wimps." Possible sentences is a strategy where students are given a list of words related to the story, and they have to use pairs of words to write a sentence that could possibly come from the story. Students then read the story and compare their sentences to what actually happened in the story. Students then can rewrite their sentences to make them correct. Could be used as a post-assessment for comprehension as well.
No answer key because students' sentences can't be wrong when used as a prereading strategy.
