In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day coming up next week, I am posting this Web Quest lesson in hopes that you can engage your students with a perspective of these events that they have not been exposed to previously.
Through this Web Quest, students will learn about races, religions and individuals that were prisoners in concentration camps beyond the Jewish race. This Web Quest was created using a well-respected, high interest website created by the United States Holocaust Museum.
Here is the link. I encourage you to check it out for further education on this time in history.
This Web Quest contains 4 pages of...
-basic and higher-level thinking questions
Along with this worksheet, I have created an in-depth Answer Key. I didn't dive into point values for this assignment, as that will be up to the teacher themselves. You can choose to assign a point to each question, or a point to each task within the questions. I will leave this up to the individual teacher.
This Web Quest is a great way to introduce your students to the unspoken stories of the Holocaust and offer them a new, interesting topic to discuss.
