PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity allows students to practice probability in a hands-on way. Students will record information about the colored tiles that they have in a bag. First, they will look at how many tiles of each color they have in their bag. The students will need to decide which color is likely to be pulled out more, and which color is unlikely. Next, students will get experience pulling out the tiles (without looking of course!). They will record what color they pulled out each time, and they will do so 8 times. At the end of the activity discuss students' results as a whole group. This activity can be done individually, in pairs, or in groups!
