I love using hands-on sorting activities in math to keep students engaged! These probability sorting cards are a great way to have students practice representing probability as well as identifying the likelihood of an event occurring. This works well as a pre-assessment, classwork/homework assignment, review, or post-assessment.
This resource includes a hands-on printable version as well as a digital version in Google Slides™. Use in your classroom or for distance learning! Since there are a lot of pieces to sort, you may want to assign this as a partner activity.
Students cut apart the 20 sorting cards and place them in the correct places in the chart. They can glue them when finished. Alternatively, you can laminate the materials for long-term use in a center.
Students click and drag to move the sorting cards to the correct places. Please note that you will need a Google account to use this paperless version.
Answer keys are included.
