This package is my probability unit in a nutshell! It contains 5 different hands-on probability experiments that can be done with your students to explore various concepts of probability. All experiments come with a teacher instruction sheet with the answers or outcomes of the experiment, as well as all the student handouts. These probability experiments require few materials – dices and coins. Some of the concepts explored are the use of probability lines to describe the likelihood of an event (ex: probably, possible, certain), the meaning of probability, the concept of “fairness” or “odds”, representing probability as a fraction or decimal, event or tree diagrams to find all possible combinations, and theoretical and experimental probability and their relationship.
