Get your students ACTIVELY engaged in their learning with these problem-based learning activities!
This product includes 10 activities. In each activity, students are given a case study that presents a patient with certain symptoms. Students must work in cooperative learning groups to solve a problem - that is, diagnose the disease the patient is suffering from.
The product includes teacher directions, questions and points students should consider (in a printable poster format), student directions, a student recording sheet and student reflection sheet.
A 50-slide PowerPoint is also included. This powerpoint acts like an answer key. It includes slides that show what information students should have extracted from the case study, how you would confirm the diagnosis, how the disease is treated and what the prognosis of the disease is. *Note: The PowerPoint is in .pptx format. The text and images on the slides are NOT editable, but slides CAN be added or removed from the presentation.*
