Product Description
This download is a 3 page problem set for students to practice taking measurements and work on their conceptualization of what significant figures represent. For my own course work, this problem set represents practice related to the following learning objectives in the form of “I Don’t Know” and “I Can’t” statements:

□ I Don’t Know what the parts of a measurement are.
□ I Don’t Know why zero is the most important number.
□ I Don’t Know what the SI system is.
□ I Don’t Know what a prefixes and suffixes are.
□ I Don’t Know what the metric system is.
□ I Don’t Know what error is.
□ I Don’t Know what a significant figure is.
ο I Can’t take a measurement.
ο I Can’t identify the certainty expressed in a measurement.

The problem set includes 45 problems in an editable MS Word format addressing the use of metric rulers, graduated cylinders, thermometers, burets, and digital balances.

Also available is a free detailed (colored) problem set key with explanations!

Regardless if you choose to download or just view, thank you for taking the time to do so!
