This is a fun way to work on multiple goals!
This activity involves students listening to descriptions about 20 different locations from Hawaii to Prague to China. After listening to descriptions they are given two clues per picture and need to infer what location the picture is of. There is another page where students can write two clues to help someone guess the location based off listening to the description or reading the description themselves. This is also a great way to incorporate history into your lesson!
This activity can be used numerous ways so feel free to use the information and suite it to your students goals! You can make your own rules to use it with younger students or I would use this activity with grades 4-8.
There are all the city/country names written on page 124. I read my students five descriptions and then showed them 5 (or you can give them more to make it more challenging) location names and they needed to try and figure out which picture goes with what location.
There is a response sheet if you want to save paper/ink and not print the pages where students need to infer what location it is and explain how they know.
Check pages before printing. There are duplicates of all pages depending on how you want to use the activity.
