Description
The goal of education is to create a culture of independent, problem solvers! We want students to be able to generate and evaluate ideas. But how do we go about making that happen?
To begin with, we need to create a culture of problem solvers within our very own classrooms. We need to teach children the steps involved in identifying a problem, determining barriers preventing us from achieving our goals, brainstorm possible solutions, test solutions, and finally reflect on the process and outcome. By repetition of these steps, modeling, and practice, our students CAN in fact learn to solve problems on their own.
This FREE Poster Pack is a great resource to display in your classroom to remind students of the 5 steps involved in problem-solving. The posters are kids friendly and eye catching!
