Hello! Thank you for looking at Problem Solving Scenarios to Develop Self-Advocacy for Students with Hearing Impairments.
This lesson consists of 52 realistic problem solving scenarios that students with a hearing impairment could possibly encounter and gives them an opportunity to practice what they would do and say in such occurrences.
I have used the scenario cards with students from second grade through eighth grade.
I have had the opportunity to work with several hearing impaired students over the past years and have realized that they really need practice to develop self-advocacy and problem solving skills related to their hearing, hearing aids, systems used and interactions that is necessary for their overall academic success.
I have included 52 scenarios currently, but I will probably be adding in the future, so be sure to re-download and check back!
***** Before printing, I have included a set in color and a black and white set. I prefer the color, just to recall which questions I have read. Please adjust your print ranges as necessary!!!!
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this lesson or with any of my lessons, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks so much!! Dana
