One of my goals is to help my students become successful problem solvers all on their own. This product is a set of problem solving sorting/matching cards. There are six problems and four solutions for each problem. There is a set of blank cards that you can either add your own problems/solutions to or have your students create their own with. I've also included an exit ticket I use with the lesson.
The problems are:
-Your teacher has been giving your parents bad behavior reports
-You don't have a sharp pencil
-Someone in your class has been saying mean things and you've been getting mad
-Your grades are lower than you want them to be
-You keep getting to school late
-You wish you had more friends
I LOVE to use this as an extension activity for Julia Cook's "But it's not my fault!". It also pairs nicely with Kobi Yamada's "What do you do with a problem?".
