Get your students engaged and always looking back in their notes with this fun and unique Problem Solving Strategies Flip Chart! My students are forever looking at our anchor charts on the wall to help them solve their problems, or asking myself or a peer for help if they don't know where to begin. With this flip chart, your students will be able to have the anchor chart, a step by step guide on how to solve a problem using that particular strategy, and an example word problem that you can complete together so they always have something to refer back to, especially when they are at home!
I have made parts of this flip chart EDITABLE. The cover and the titles of the seven problem solving strategies are not editable but everything else is! I made the "steps" and "word problem examples" editable because I wanted you to be able to use this in 3rd grade as well as in 7th. You know your class better than anyone and you know what wording will be too much and what is just right.
