Are you using Interactive Math Notebooks this year? Use this problem solving strategies lesson as a part of your math notebook. It includes problem solving strategies reference sheet on the six most common problem solving strategies, including using a table, drawing a picture, working backwards and using an equation. There is also a practice sheet and as a reflection with 5 choices of ways to reflect and a rubric for self-evaluation.

Includes additional problem solving activity sheet. This meets Common Core Math Standards: 2.MD.B.5, 3.OA.A.3, 4.OA.A.2, and 5.NF.B.6. It also meets the UK National Curriculum Maths Programme standards for Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
