4 NEW TEAM PROBLEMS (with corresponding Independent Problems)
For primary-aged students to learn skills for Problem Solving in Mathematics, it is beneficial to use effective scaffolding.
Of course, teachers can scaffold but peer-scaffolding can be just as effective.
With this product, small teams of students work together to solve a problem (discussing strategies as they go) and then the whole class comes back together to discuss most effective strategies. The students are then given the same problem (with different numbers) to solve independently.
