This is a scripted lesson I use for a tutor in a small group setting, but it would also work for a whole group lesson. It includes questioning before, during, and after reading and uses a graphic organizer (included) to help students understand the problems and solutions in a text. It helps the students identify multiple problems as well as how solutions don't always work. The graphic organizer (T-chart) comes with one filled out as an example of what you create with the lesson and a blank copy for independent practice. This lesson uses the book Falling for Rapunzel by Leah Wilcox.
